Pumpkins

I absolutely love fall and pumpkins. Any kind of pumpkins, real, fake, wool, cotton, embroidered, and of course cooked. We have yet to receive fall weather. It is hot! Could we please dip into the low 80's or high 70's? Now my son who lives in Tempe would say "really Mom, this isn't hot! Even though it may not feel like fall we have decorated the store for fall.

Enjoy your weekend and come see us soon!

ALDEN LANE

We had one of the greatest experiences this weekend since we opened Morning Star Quilts. If you ever have the opportunity to go to the Alden Lane Nursery Quilt Show in Livermore CA you really must go. It's routinely scheduled the third weekend in September.

The nursery is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is kind, courteous, helpful, knowledgable and extremely hardworking. Definately one of the gems of Livermore. Giant oaks embrace the grounds of the nursery. The quilts are suspended from an elaborate pulley system between the large Oak trees.
The variety of quilts displayed was awe inspiring.
Because of the sunshine and shadows my photos aren't the best but I would still like to share them with you. So here goes....

I will post more another day. Right now these weary bones are ready for bed.
